札内大斜面を求めて12時間。
札内岳に登ろう。
という計画で朝3時に拓成橋で待ち合わせ。
途中、中札内村の橋が落ちていたりして時間ギリギリに到着した。
当初の予定では、札内ピストンだったものの、「意外と天気ええんでないかい？」ということで、「勝幌札内縦走セット・札内大斜面を添えて」のフルコースとなった。
行動は終始スキーだった。雪庇の上の硬いところを探りながら突破して行く。
何箇所か大きな音で崩れたが、崖ではなかったのでそれほどシビアではない。
まずは十勝幌尻ゲット。まだ、札内の方はモヤがかかっていたが、次第に晴れてきた。
先週のホロホロと比べれば、天国みたいな上天気。
正直、ここで下山しても十分に達成感を味わえたと思うが、
「地獄で後悔するより、晴れて後悔したくない」という師匠の言葉に、無言で歩を進めるのであった。
カチポロから札内岳まではアップダウンを繰り返す。
シールつけたまま登ったり降りたりを繰り返すが、シールスキー下手くそでかなり消耗してしまった。
パクさんが元気すぎて、カチポロ以降は終始2番手に甘んじてしまった。
札内大斜面が見えてからさらにペースが上がったようで、かなり水を開けられてしまう。
ラッセルでお力になれず申し訳なかった。まだまだ成長しなくては。

そういや、札内岳は「1,895m」と高い山だ。この高さに登るのはトムラウシ以来か。
調子がでないのは空気が薄いせいもあったかもしれない。
そしてテイクオフ。滑走の様子はまた後日、YouTubeで。
札内大斜面全景。コンタ差300だが圧倒的スケール感。
素晴らしい眺めだ。ここに別荘を建てよう。
その後、ピリカペタヌ沢のハーフパイプを豪快に落として行く。日陰で地形が読めず苦労した。
その後、シールを貼り直してトボトボと歩くこと2時間。満身創痍の下山であった。
林道まで出ると、パクさんはあっという間に見えなくなった。明日もお山に行くらしい。
今の僕にはこれが限界だ。体力・技術・精神力、総合力を磨かなければ。
