毎週毎週、釧路に帰るのが本当に辛い。この1ヶ月間、まったく山に行けずストレスがやばいの。てことで、今週末は山に専念するよ。
ということで、上川岳へ。白水川から入山、しんしんと雪が降っている。林道を690橋まで進み、左岸尾根を目指す。途中、ゴロゴロの巨岩やエゾシカの寝床を見物する。エゾシカも急斜面ではジグを切るんだねぇ。尾根に上がると明るくなってきた。雨が降ったようで、雪質はザクザク。今日の滑りはイマイチかもしれない。いつの間にか雪はやみ、青空が見えて春の陽気。ご機嫌な朝のお散歩だが、ゆっくりしてると雪は死んでしまうだろう。1559から先は、スキーでは厳しい岩尾根へ。ルートを見極めて、板を脱がずに進んでいく。1680は東巻、1740は西巻。キツネの足跡を辿れば、スキーが使えてイイ感じ。しかし、雪庇を踏み抜きかける罠あり。ズドンと大きな音、足下からヒビが入って、心臓に悪い。結局、山頂までノーアイゼン、クトーのみだった。（何箇所か落ちたらやばそうなので、遠慮せずにアイゼンを使うべきだろう。）
一服したら山頂からGO。と思ったけど、ずっと雪質悪く嫌な予感がしたのでスキーカットを試す。案の定、雪崩れた。湿雪でゆるゆると流れるやつ。ただ、自分の下手っぴスキーでも雪崩に追いつかれることはなさそうなので、流路の脇を滑ってきた。パウダーはイマイチだったが、山頂から滑るプレミア付きなので満足。斜度が緩くなったら大きくトラバース。上川岳の岩峰は、海外のビデオでよく見る景色っぽくてカッコいい。そのまま一気に噴気孔まで滑り降りる。沢底はガスが残っていて、涼しく快適だ。沢の雪を繋ぎ、メロンの滝からは林道が使える。崩落箇所を攻略すれば、快適自動下山。お疲れ様でした。下山後は黒岳の湯＆ロコモコ丼。明日も頑張りましょう。
